Noise Ordinance
Ocean City enforces a noise ordinance to protect the quality of life for all residents and visitors. Excessive noise is prohibited between midnight and 7:00 AM. In addition, noise that can be heard from 50 feet or more away at any hour may be subject to enforcement action.

Vehicle Noise
The use of vehicles that produce excessive noise, including modified exhaust systems, is subject to citation under Ocean City ordinance. This applies to motorcycles, ATVs, and passenger vehicles on public roads and community streets.
Pet Rules
All pets in Montego Bay must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets. Failure to comply with scoop laws may result in a citation.
Pets are only permitted on the beach or boardwalk between October 1st and April 30th. During the summer season (May 1st through September 30th), pets must remain off the beach and community boardwalk.

Ocean City has a designated off-leash dog play area at Little Salisbury Park at 94th Street. This is the appropriate location for off-leash dog activity.
